Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser. This policy lists the ones Yet uses, following the LGPD and the cookie guide of Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
In short
Yet uses only its own cookies, needed for you to sign in and stay signed in, and a few that remember your choices. We use no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and share no cookies with third parties. That’s why we show no consent banner: none of our cookies requires consent.
The yet.com.br website
The home page, the legal pages and the waitlist set no cookies. The only thing the home page's demo stores in your browser is whether the rack's cables are shown.
The website's fonts come from Google Fonts: when you open the page, your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address but sets no cookies.
The Workspace's and the console's cookies
| Cookie | What for | Kind | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| yet_session | Keeping you signed in to the workspace or the console. | Necessary | 7 days |
| Sign-in cookies (auth.yet.com.br) | Authenticating your sign-in and password changes. | Necessary | Session, or until you sign out |
| yet_workspace | Remembering the workspace and email you used at mail.yet.com.br, for the next sign-in. | Functional | 1 year |
| sidebar_state | Remembering whether the sidebar is open or closed. | Functional | 7 days |
All are Yet's own and never read by third parties, and the session ones are marked HttpOnly and Secure — the page's JavaScript cannot read them, and they travel over HTTPS only.
Local storage
Some preferences are stored only in your browser or the app and never reach our servers: Hello's recently used emoji, the camera and microphone chosen for calls, whether Hello's panel is open, the notifications already shown, and the costs panel's currency. In the phone app, your sign-in is kept in the device's secure storage.
Managing them
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the necessary ones keeps you from signing in to Yet; deleting the functional ones only makes Yet forget your choices. Signing out deletes the session cookie.
Changes
If we start using a cookie that depends on consent, we will ask before setting it, making refusing as easy as accepting, and update this page.
